History

With knowledge and a strong work history consisting of commercial development, residential framing, and residential remodeling, Ken, without knowing it, landed his first project and business customer in the Winter 0f 1999... A small roof job for a neighbor. Now this roof project was to be only a favor for a neighbor. Ken had no idea that this was to be his very first customer. Before this project was complete, another neighbor inquired about his upcoming roof project. Ken again performed this "favor" for yet another friend... this time seeking the slight chance of a small business oppurtunity. With hopes to grab yet another customer, Ken made a sign from wood and placed it in the customers yard, performed the roofing project, and again added his 3rd customer to his profile. In 1999, while still holding a full time job and living at his parents home with his Wife (Jessica) and Son (Anthony), Ken had a total of 4 customers. The year 2000 brought a few more. And the year of 2001 was the year that Ken decided to take the blind leap of faith and jump into business. Leaving his full time job and committing all of his time and energy to a new company.

And so it began...In 1999... K&A ... Ken & Anthony (Kens Son).

Now, 11 years later, what once was a small one man operation has flourished into a business which competes with the top and leading business' in the field. Starting by himself, with only the knowledge of residential and commercial roofing, Ken has continued to endlessly research, study, attended seminars, school, and anything he can do to educate himself on the industrys leading trades and practices. Now, 11 years after that first "favor" K&A Contracting continues to compete with leading and large companies as well as employ an incredibly strong field of employees whos knowledge and expertise is second to none!
